A church hosted a hot cross buns sale in aid of two charities.
St Peter’s Church, in Church Road, Thundersley, hosted the hot cross bun sale on Thursday in aid of Sunbeams Music Therapy Trust and St Peter’s Aid to East Europe Trust.
The sale, organised by Reverend Andy Hudson proved popular, with a constant flow of sales.
Sunbeams Music Therapy Trust aims to to relieve sickness and assist in the remedial treatment of children and adults suffering from physical, emotional, psychological or other mental health problems by the provision of community music therapy, and to provide introductory music therapy training to individuals working with such persons.
While the aid to east Europe trust works to the prevention or relief of poverty and to provide accommodation and housing abroad.
