Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between Pitsea and Upminster all all lines are blocked.
Train services running across the whole c2c network will be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 1pm.
Customers are advised that Country-Bound services are still able to run. Passengers requiring London-Bound services to Basildon, Laindon and West Horndon, are advised to travel to Upminster on a Tilbury Line service, then travel back from there.
Greater Anglia are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.
Replacement road transport services will convey passengers between Upminster and Pitsea via Basildon in both directions from 11.45pm.
If your journey has been disrupted by more than 15 minutes, you may be entitled to cash compensation. Please visit the c2c website and search 'Delay Repay' for information on how to claim.
