The recent decision from the High Court, on the Alzheimer's drug ban, is in totally perverse.
The High Court judgment backed the challenged Nice's decision that the drugs Aricept, Reminyl and Exelon should be banned from prescription to early-diagnosed sufferers of Alzheimer's.
What a huge blow to those whose suffering can be eased or curtailed by the use of the drugs.
It is not simply the cost, which as far as drug costs go, is cheap at £2.50 a day for each patient.
It would appear Nice has some other agenda, I am keen to find out much more about Alzheimer's. If any organisation or individual can help , please e-mail me.
