It’s a very tasty event! Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May at Chelmsford City Racecourse. 10am – 5pm

Echo: Check out the Essex Fine Food Show this weekend
If you visit the racecourse this weekend, there might not be any horse racing but you might catch site of a celebrity chef or two! James Martin will be there on Saturday and John Torode on Sunday.

They will be demonstrating some of their favourite dishes from the Verstegen Chefs Stage at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. You might even get a cheeky selfie at their book signings!

Echo: Fine Foods

We also have a great line up of local chefs demonstrating their favourite food at the Dan Hull local chefs stage including Dan Hull, Dan Hull Prepared Foods Mick Binnington from the Windmill at Chatham Green and Adnam Townsend from the New London Restaurant in Chelmsford.

The outdoor food court is where you can indulge in some serious gluttony with specialities such as wood fired pizzas, buttermilk chicken, Oriental noodles and savoury and sweet crepes. All washed down with a refreshing pint of Adnams, a glass of prosecco or freshly squeezed French lemonade.

To get into the show spirit, listen to live music from local singers, Tou Can Jam and Idreiss Ibrahim.

Last but not least, you can shop from a huge range of Artisan produce from our food and drink exhibitors including fabulous chocolates, cheeses, hand crafted fruit wines, sauces, vegan and vegetarian meals and snacks.

Many of them are Great Taste Award winners.

Show organiser, Anne Pocock said “we are very excited about this year’s show, there is an exceptional calibre of chefs and producers and visitors can meet and chat to the people behind the produce and enjoy a fantastic foodie experience”

On line ticket sales close at 5pm on Thursday 10th May but tickets will be available on the gate from £6.00. www.essexfinefoodshow.co.uk
