Police have charged two people with murder after a man was stabbed in Southend earlier this week.
Michael Nyathi, 18, of Steeplefield, Leigh, and a 17-year-old boy from Shoeburyness, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, May 17.
They have both also been charged with attempted robbery.
A 20-year-old man from Southend arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday remains in custody for questioning.

The charges follow the death of Fabian Kacica, 19, of Lornes Close, Southend, who died from a single stab wound following a disturbance in Farringdon Service Road, outside The Forum, at around 9pm on Monday, May 14.
