MONTHS of hard work have finally paid off for one dedicated Seevic College student after scoring four top grades.
Lauren Tansley, 18, of Broad Way, Hockley gained A grades in maths, further maths, physics and economics.
She is now due to head off to Warwick University to study for a degree in maths and economics.
She said: "I was really pleased with what I got. I put in so much work. I've always loved maths and really enjoyed it. It's always been my favourite subject.
"I hope university is going to be a brilliant experience. It's a great university, so I'm really pleased.I just want to go to university and see where it takes me."
