THE mayor of Basildon paid a visit to a pharmacy to support their charity work.
David Dadds took to Twitter to share his visit.
He tweeted: “Proud to support Shadforth Pharmacy in Billericay High Street raising awareness and funds for the British Heart Foundation.”
The newly appointed mayor posed for pictures with staff and representatives during the visit.
He serves the Billericay ward as a councillor and took over from David Harrison who was mayor for the borough for two years.
Daniel Lawrence was also appointed as the deputy mayor and he has taken over the role from David Burton-Sampson.
The pair took over following last months election.
