Marco’s Tapas Bar Restaurant in  Eastwood Road, Rayleigh, is celebrating its 15th Birthday on Thursday (June 14).

For fifteen Years, the owners Mark, Pamela & Bradley Worship, along with their family, including son Kurtis and sister Marie Baker, head chef Marcus Sowerbutts and all their friendly staff have brought to the town a splash of Mediterranean Sunshine with brightly lit patio areas and murals depicting blue seas which gives an authentic impression of Spain.

Bringing the warmth of Spain to Rayleigh, the Restaurant has an extensive food and wine menu, an alfresco seating area with live music & DJs playing every Friday and Saturday evening.

During these weekend evenings the cheery bar-disco area has the air of a beach party. Only the home ‘Essex accents’ give the game away.

Despite the laid-back atmosphere found in the bar, there clearly is one thing that is taken very seriously at Marco’s and that is their ‘Tapas Food’.

Tapas, for the benefit of the first-timers, originates from Spain where there are no normal set course meals. Customers just order a selection of dishes to suit their own requirements.
