Performing Arts students at South Essex College held a fantastic showcase of work for their end of year show.
The first year Level 3 Performing Arts (Acting) students, part of the College’s Nu.Dynamic Theatre Company, took to the stage to bring Showcase 18 to life in front of an audience of friends, family, fellow students and staff.
The show was a culmination of their work throughout the year which highlighted important subjects such as race and women’s equality, physical abuse, mental health issues, broken relationships, and the #MeToo movement.
Tutor Sarah Doney said: “Showcase 18 enabled all students to celebrate their learning in a dynamic and creative end of year show to explore some very powerful and emotive messages. The students performed with confidence, energy, professionalism and flair and were proud to be part of Nu.Dynamic Theatre Company.”
One student, Alfie Taylor, said: “Showcase 18 has been a brilliant way to explore my skills in directing, as well as acting.”
