David Amess
A GUIDE group had a special visit from the local MP.
David Amess, MP for Southend West, visited the 8th Leigh Guides at St Michael’s church. The girls asked him many various questions which they had written themselves and Sir David, a father to four girls, was interested in finding out more about the well-known organisation and the activities they get involved with.While he was there, he presented one of the guides India Ellis her Jack Petchey Award.
