A man has been charged after an 11 year-old boy reported being sexually assaulted inside a premises in Southend High Street.
The incident is alleged to have happened on Sunday, August 5.
Muhammed Mucahid, 57, from Gladstone Avenue, London, was charged with the sexual assault of a boy under 13, breach of a court order and assaulting a police officer in the execution of duty.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today, August 7.
