A moped rider has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a crash.
A yellow Mini Cooper and a black Piaggo moped were in collision on Western Road, Billericay, shortly before 9am on Friday, July 13.
The moped rider, a 46-year-old man from Basildon, was taken to hospital and treated for serious but non-life changing injuries.
No arrests have been made and enquires are going.
Officers would like speak to anyone who witnessed, or has dash cam footage, of the incident. Police would particularly like to speak to the driver of a dark coloured car who was driving behind the moped at the time of the collision.
