ROCHFORD councillor James Cottis has returned from Las Vegas full of plans to launch Project Magic on this side of the pond.
The scheme helps to rehabilitate hospital patients by teaching them magicians' skills.
Perhaps he could use his wand to sort out a few other hospital problems - like conjuring up more beds and shorter waiting lists.
