A PAIR of men in their 40s were beaten unconscious outside a Southend hotel.
Six men have been arrested following the incident outside the Park Inn Palace Hotel in Church Road, Southend on Monday August 27.
Police attended after receiving reports at around 4am that two men had been punched and kicked unconscious outside the hotel.
One of the men suffered a cut above his eye and the other cuts and bruising.
Essex Police officers worked alongside Southend Council's CCTV operators to find a group of six men, aged 18 to 19, from Canvey, who were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm.
The group still remain in custody for questioning.
