A man has been charged with multiple counts after he was arrested in Grays.
Adedamola Bakinson, 41, of Glenmere, Basildon was arrested on Thursday August 30 after Essex Police' Op Raptor South team recovered a large collection of suspected class A drugs.
A spokesman for Essex Police, said: "He was charged with: two counts of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply; possessing a knife; possessing a Class B drug; failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis; driving whilst disqualified and with no insurance; possessing criminal property; and obstructing a constable.
"Bakinson appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Saturday September 1."
Bakinson did not enter a plea when he appeared.
He has been remanded in custody until he appears at Basildon Crown Court on Saturday September 29.
