IF you're looking for an intimate evening full of inspiration and entertainment, get your free tickets booked for the next Future Park event.
Hosted by arts organisation Metal and taking place in Chalkwell Hall in Chalkwell Park, Future Park features guest multi media artist - award winning Laura Daly - talking about her most ambitious work to date; The Storm Cone.
The Storm Cone is a 360 degree sound installation which "explores the sites of lost bandstands in England and their place in history".
Following Laura will be a short live set from singer songwriter Amy Allwright, performing original material alongside creative covers with her little green ukulele.
From 8:15pm will come the fast-paced, often amusing, always inspiring, 'three minute wonder' session, where creatives - writers, artists, makers, performers, designers and more - can take to the stage to give short presentations, talks or performances on their project of choice.
This 45 minute session is open to anyone, so if you are interested in taking the opportunity to give yourself a plug, send an email to chalkwell@metalculture.com.
It all takes place on Thursday September 13.
Admission is free, but booking is essential as space is limited, via metalculture.com/event/futurepark.
The night opens at 7pm with a bar, with Laura Daly on at 7:30pm, Amy Allwright at 8pm, and the 3 Minute Wonder Session from 8:15pm with drinks, music and conversation until 10pm.
