Deliveryman to appear in court over attempted rape
A PRESCRIPTION delivery driver is set to appear in court charged with attempted rape.
Dennis Reed,of Sydney Street, Colchester, is charged with one offence of attempted oral rape, one offence of sexual touching and assault by beating.
The offences are alleged to have occurred at the home of an elderly woman in August who was part of his delivery round.
The 68-year-old is due at Colchester Magistrates' Court today.
