THEO Robinson would be happy to keep winning ugly at Southend United.

The Shrimpers ended a three match losing streak by grinding out a 1-0 triumph against Fleetwood Town on Saturday.

And Robinson is keen to help Blues build on the victory.

“It wasn’t pretty at the weekend but getting the three points was all that mattered, especially after the three defeats,” said the striker.

“We’ve certainly played better in games and lost this season but all we’re concerned about is getting as many points as we can.

“We have to keep working hard and do all we can to get the win, starting with Wycombe.

“It’s going to be a hard game there at the weekend but we want to build on the win against Fleetwood.”

Robinson - who returned to the team after a three game absence - also played a key part in the win as he created Simon Cox's winning goal.

And Robinson was pleased with the assist.

"It was good to be able to put the goal on a plate for Coxy," said the striker.

"I want to help the team as much as I can and picking up points is more important than who scores."
