A GROUP of children have enjoyed great days out in London.

The Southend Toy Library for Handicapped Children, which is attached to Southend Hospital, took the group of youngsters to the capital over the summer.

They were given free travel by c2c.

The group enjoyed visiting Tower Bridge, London Eye, the Sky Garden and many more.

Tracey Beck, a member of the group, said: “During the summer C2C gave us free travel to take our children on experiences that they might not otherwise have had. The staff were friendly and very attentive.

“On one particular day we took 50 people comprising of disabled children, young adults and their parents on the train and then across by boat to the Cutty Sark.

“We would like to thank C2C for the attention and kindness they showed to our children and their families.”
