A CAMERA company is searching for residents aged 100-years-old for a century company anniversary project.

Olympus is looking for the elderly residents for the 100 year anniversary in 2019.

The project is celebrating life, and how reaching 100 years old is a fantastic milestone.

It will work to capture professional portraits for families and unite photographers and 100-year-olds.

The camera company is aiming to take wonderful portraits that capture the 100-year-olds at their best and if appropriate feature a quote from them that might shed light on their secret to longevity or simply some words of wisdom garnered over their lifetime.

In October 1919 Takeshi Yamashita founded the Olympus company, specialising in the manufacture of microscopes and thermometers.

100 years along the line, Olympus’ history of excellence continues with a range of award-winning mirrorless cameras and high-quality lenses.
