Attempted burglar smashed his way into home before fleeing
A man smashed his way into someone's home in the middle of the day sparking a police appeal for witnesses.
Essex Police are releasing an efit of a man they want to speak to about an attempted burglary in Langdon Hills on September 20.
At around 11.45am, a man was seen to enter a garden in Samuel Road.
He then used a hammer and chisel to smash a French door window.
It is believed the suspect was then disturbed by the victim before running away.
Nothing was stolen.
