Man charged with robbery and punching police dog
A man has been charged with robbing three people and punching a police dog.
Joseph Daniel, 19, of Sabina Road, Grays, was arrested on Monday, October 1.
He was charged with two counts of robbery in Blackshots on September 7, one count of robbery in Orsett Road on October 1, and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, also on October 1.
He appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Wednesday, October 3 and was remanded in custody to appear at Basildon Crown Court on October 31.
