A PAIR of YouTubers raised £1,500 for Little Havens after walking more than 200 miles from Prague to Berlin.
Vloggers Mark Cundy, 52, from Westcliff, and Lucas Coyer, 21, from Shoebury completed the 209-mile challenge on Wednesday, October 3, setting off in the Czech Republic on September 24.
The pair were given a heroes welcome by families of children at Little Havens and Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West when they returned to Southend Pier on Sunday.
Mark said: “We originally set the JustGiving total at £500 and it just kept going up.”
Sir David added: “I wholeheartedly congratulate Mark and Lucas on successfully undertaking such a long sponsored walk.
While I know they enjoyed taking in the wonderful sites en route, at the end of it the prize was that they raised a considerable amount of money for Little Havens.
“This charity gives much needed support to so many people at a time of often great stress.” Mark and Lucas vlogged their entire trip. To watch search Mark & Lucas on YouTube.
