A CAR enthusiast has been left heartbroken after thieves stole her Ford Mustang from her driveway.

Danni Beard, 33, had been saving for two decades to be able to afford her dream car but it took thieves just 20 seconds to steal it using a keyless entry device.

CCTV footage, which Danni shared across social media in a bid to track down the thieves, shows two hooded men creep up to the American muscle car, worth an estimated £35,000, on her driveway in Southend.

One of the thieves then gets on the right-hand side of the car and uses a fob on the keyless car to unlock the door.

He is then seen starting the car and driving off.

It was only when Danni woke in the morning she realised the high performance vehicle had been stolen.

Appealing for witnesses on Facebook, the restaurant owner of Bobby Jo’s Diner in Southend, said: “So at 3.28am my pride and joy was stolen off my driveway.

“I am totally gutted and infuriated. I have worked my ass off since I was the age of 13 or 14 to be able to afford my dream car only for some absolute low lives to just steal it within a second, without a second thought.

“CCTV images attached to this post shows the thieving scum are literally so clever.

“The technology they have is unreal.

“If you watch the long video it’s like he even has a little happy dance.”

Essex Police has confirmed it is investigating the theft and urged anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesman said: “We were called to reports a yellow Ford Mustang had been stolen from an address in Southchurch Road, Southend between 11.30pm on October 9 and 8.30am on October 10.
