A BUSINESS in Maldon has successfully maintained a top international standard for another year.

Carr's Flour in Station Road received AA status on their BRC accreditation.

A spokesman said: “The Maldon Mill has been BRC/EFSIS accredited since 2003 and has held the highly acclaimed AA status since 2016.

“Receiving the AA accreditation is a testament to Carr’s continued dedication to high levels of food safety and quality management.”

The British Retail Consortium developed the BRC Food Technical Standard in 1998 to be used to evaluate manufacturers of retailers’ own brand food products.
