HUNDREDS of pounds were stolen from a shop after robbers demanded money using a note.

Two men robbed the Ladbrokes in Roseberry Avenue, Thundersley, yesterday afternoon.

They went into the shop at around 2.30pm and demanded money with the use of a note.

Police have not been able to provide any information on what the note said at this stage.

The robbers made off with hundreds of pounds in cash.

One of the men is described as white, in his late teens, 5ft 6ins tall, slim with short blonde hair and wearing a navy blue cap, a light blue t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms, and trainers.

The second man is described as white, in his late teens, 5ft 4ins tall, of chubby build, with short dark hair and wearing a dark red hooded top with the hood up, black trousers and trainers.

Both men left towards Eversley road.
