SOUTHEND United are ball number 41 in tonight's FA Cup first round draw.

The draw will be made at around 7.10pm on BBC2.

And Blues boss Chris Powell is hoping for a home tie.

"I would love a home draw and it would be good if we got someone who wasn’t in League One because you want cup games to be against people you don’t know," said Powell.

"We could literally be anywhere but we’ll take whatever comes our way.

"Our aim, like everyone else, will be to get to the third round."

However, Blues have been beaten in the first round for the past four seasons and have not won in the FA Cup since beating Millwall 4-1 at Roots Hall in 2014.
