Pitsea's Lidl will re-open next month following a complete refurbishment.
The store, in Old Market Retail Park in Pitsea, will open once again on November 8.
The new supermarket forms part of the company’s ongoing expansion and regeneration plans in the UK and will include facilities such as an in-store bakery, longer-style tills with dual packing, customer toilets and baby changing.
Lidl UK’s regional head of property, Andrew Hodgkinson, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in redeveloping our Lidl store in Pitsea. There’s been much anticipation for this new store and we can’t wait to re-open our doors and serve our multi-award winning products to the local community again.”
