A MAN from Canvey has been charged with a string of burglaries and thefts.
Daniel Steward, 21, of St. John's Crescent, Canvey has been charged with five counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and one count of theft from a shop.
One of the burglary charges relates to an incident at Canvey Ironing and Laundry on Vikings Way on Sunday night where cash and tools were stolen.
Steward is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates' Court today.
