THIS is a big week for the football club and we know it could shape Billericay Town’s season.

We started the week with a 2-2 draw at Hungerford Town before facing Chesterfield in our FA Cup first round replay tonight and Hampton & Richmond Borough in the FA Trophy this weekend.

The FA Trophy is a competition we always want to do well in and we know Hampton will be tough place to go. But we always go one game at a time so we are only focused on Chesterfield.

We know there will be a big crowd at the AGP Arena and there will also be a great atmosphere.

The supporters could have an impact on the match but we know we need to give them something to shout about.

It’s a massive game for the club and we know we will create chances because we always do.

We fancy ourselves to score in every game and keeping a clean sheet would be great, although we know that will be difficult because they are a good side.

Chesterfield have history in this competition and I remember them getting to the semi-finals in the 1990s before going out to Middlesbrough.

They were in League One a few seasons ago and we are under no illusions as to how good they are.

We will be the underdogs but I think that sometimes works in our favour and we’re looking forward to the challenge.

It’s important that we are going into the match having not picked up a defeat.

Hungerford scored to make it 2-1 late on but Dean Inman scored a brilliant header right at the end for a point.

Deano loves to score goals - he does it in training - and he sometimes abandons his defensive duties so that he can get forward.

We were disappointed to only draw but that shows how far we have come because we went there last year in the cup and were pleased with a draw.
