A13 crash
Pictures have revealed the extent of the road closure and damage after a crash early this morning.
The A13 is closed at Chalkwell between Southbourne Grove and Nelson Road after a crash overnight.
A woman has been taken to hospital after the crash near the bus stop on the London-bound side near the junction with Leigh Road.
The southbound carriageway is now open and people have been able to access Chalkwall Hall Junior School.
However, the northbound carriageway remains closed and will be for many hours.
A man has also been arrested following the crash.
