A BUS driver was left with a broken hand after confronting a passenger who had the wrong ticket.
British Transport Police have released photos of a man wanted in connection with the assault which happened at Rayleigh train station.
A spokesman for the police said: "A man was refused travel on the bus after presenting the incorrect ticket.
"He got on the bus regardless and the driver then left his cab to speak to him.
"The man then assaulted the driver and the pair fell out of the bus and onto the concrete, where the driver sustained a broken hand which required surgery."
The incident took place at around 5.45pm on October 30.
