FIREFIGHTERS were scrambled to a chemical leak at Laindon Health Centre.
Crews were called at 12.46pm to the centre on High Road after a small amount of chemical was spilt in a confined room.
Pictures show the crews attending the incident near the centre's car park.
A spokesman for Essex Fire Service said: "We were called to a property in Laindon after reports that a chemical had been spilled in a confined room.
"When crews arrived they confirmed a small quantity of chemical had been spilled.
"The staff had managed to clean up the small spill and crews ensured the room was fully ventilated before leaving the scene in the care of the on-site staff.
"We were called at 12.46pm and left the scene at 1.45pm."
