Tragic - Paul Wallington, 25, from Basildon
A POST-mortem examination has confirmed Paul Wallington died from a head injury, after he was assaulted outside a bar in Brentwood on Christmas Eve.
The 25-year-old was injured after a fight broke out outside The Vine in Brentwood High Street around 11.50pm on December 24.
He was taken to hospital but sadly died on Saturday, December 29.
A 29 year-old man, from Basildon, was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently on bail until January 25.
