Police cordons set up in woodland as officers search following resident concerns
A number of police cordons have been set up in a woodland area as police search following concerns by residents.
A resident posted on Facebook after spotting the officers in Hockley Woods.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Essex Police is carrying out a search of an area in Hockley Woods, Hockley following concerns raised by a member of the public.
"At this time we are looking for evidence to establish whether any offences have been committed. The search is not linked to any ongoing investigation."
