A TRAIN station in Southend was cordoned off by police after a group of yobs damagaed a door.
Residents reported seeing a police cordon at Thorpe Bay Railway Station yesterday evening.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Thorpe Bay Railway Station at 7.23pm last night following reports of three people damaging a door before leaving the station.
"Enquiries currently ongoing to establish the circumstances of what happened."
