A BUSINESSMAN is looking to offer a free day of labour to transform someone’s garden who is in dire need.

Marley Moore began his family business Oliver J Landscapes Gardening six months ago, and is delighted with how it is going.

Mr Moore, of Bronte Drive, Pitsea, spends his days working on hard landscaping, block paving, fencing, turfing, lawns and decking.

However he wants to give something back and is offering free help to someone in need.

He said: “Last year I ran a competition where I donated two guys to do a day of work for someone who would really benefit from our help.

“We had more than 100 messages and em-ails, and later on the guys at Holland’s Park Boxing gym won our services.

“They had an overgrown outside training area and it wasn’t up to scratch for training outside; they have so many young children use the gym we thought they deserve a nice clean garden.

“Now this year we are doing it again we want to really help someone enjoy their space.”

Mr Moore said he wants to bring back some faith in the landscaping industry, as he has dealt with many people who have been let down or scammed out of lots of money from rogue traders.

He said: “Once again, I will pay for four men to go to our winner’s house and do what’s necessary. I want to bring trust back into our community regarding landscaping and gardening works, as some of our customers have been previously let down or even paid for works that’s not even happened.

“They lose their money and never trust again, and that’s not fair.

“2019 is looking like a really exciting year, and we really want to make sure we find the right person.”
