AN inquest just has heard a harrowing 999 call made by the daughter of a woman who died after being set alight when she was doused in petrol.
During the ten-minute recording played at Essex Coroner's Court, the jury heard Jennifer Cronin's daughter Susan Lynch speaking to the 999 call handler.
During the panicked call, Mrs Lynch can be heard telling the police her mother was on fire and that Lynch was in the garden.
The horrific call ended with Mrs Lynch going into the garden to tend to her mother, when she was told by neighbours Lynch had slumped to the ground.
She could be heard telling her mother she was with her, and shouting: "You b******," at Lynch.
