Officers investigating the murder of Dwayne Forrester in Pitsea have made another arrest.
A warrant was carried out at an address in Pilgrims Close, Billericay, during which a man was arrested and ammunition was found.
A 40 year-old man from Billericay was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession of a firearms offences.
Two men, aged 23 and 21, and three teenage boys, aged 15, 16, and 17, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of a number of offences including murder.
The 17 year-old boy has been released on bail until February 13 while the 15 and 16 year-old boys have been released on bail until February 16.
The two men remain in custody.
