A MAN was stabbed during an armed robbery in Pitsea.
The attack took place outside Subway on Broadway just before 10pm on Friday.
The man, aged in his 30s, was approached by two men, who demanded he handed over his possessions- he was carrying a brown bag which had some cash and an iPhone 7 inside.
When he refused, he was stabbed in the leg.
The two men, who wore dark clothing, then left on foot via the alleyway close to the store.
The victim was treated at the scene but his injuries are not life threatening or life changing.
Police are appealing for information about the two men.
