TEENAGE yobs who filmed themselves pouring food and drink over the floor of a commuter train and goading other passengers have been slammed after the footage went viral.

Thousands of people have watched the preening and posing youths laugh and joke while emptying containers of food and bottles of drink into the gangway between the chairs.

Echo:

The teens then go on to poke, prod and tease other commuters during the train journey from London to Southend, where the teens are understood to live.

It is understood the video was originally posted on Monday, January 28.

However yesterday it was shared via Twitter and Facebook and has now been reported to the police.

A spokesman for train company c2c said: “We have informed the British Transport Police of this childish anti-social behaviour, which is both highly annoying for other passengers and causes unnecessary extra work for our hardworking cleaners.

“Our customers can text the British Transport Police on 61016 to report any anti-social incidents, and the perpetrators can be refused travel, and ultimately banned from c2c.”

The video has caused outrage not just because of the waste of food or disturbance to others but because of the arrogant attitude.

Echo:

Resident Michelle Johnson tweeted: “I would have pulled the cord or got someone’s attention at the next stop.

“I hope their parents somehow get to see this, it’s viral on Facebook.”

Becky Pyner tweeted: “Scumbags. This is the new generation with parents with no control or no care.

Echo:

“Hope these scrotes are made to clean the whole train with a toothbrush.”

The video was originally filmed by the teens themselves and uploaded to social media app, TikTok.

It showed a boy pouring takeaway and soft drink on the floor.
