A GANG of knife-wielding teenagers threatened and robbed five boys in a park in Benfleet.
The large group of thugs approached the teenage victims on Saturday, February 9, around 5pm, at Richmond Park, Richmond Avenue, Benfleet, and demanded their belongings while one of the suspects threatened one of the victims with a knife.
The despicable yobs made off with cash, gloves and earphones.
The suspect with the knife was described as being of mixed race heritage, aged in his late teens and was 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall.
He was slim, had short dreadlocks and wore a long black Nike coat.
The other suspects had their faces covered and also thought to be in their late teens.
Enquiries are ongoing and witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Basildon CID on 101 quoiting incident 1306 of February 9.
