IT’S APPALLING that health bosses feel it’s acceptable to sell off assets and NHS services in order to build others in a plan feared to reduce services.

What is the point and or idea behind selling land in Southend and Orsett Hospital to fund a scheme and changes that nobody wants.

I think it’s ludicrous, we shouldn’t be getting rid of Orsett Hospital at all.

I agree with councillors and campaigners that this is such a wrong decision and needs to be reversed, we need all the health care we can get.

All we have is more housing everywhere all the time, but no infrastructure.

I think it’s crazy to be closing health centres, services and hospitals when we can’t cope with demand.
