Police have thanked members of the public after an appeal to find a missing teenager proved successful.
Andrei Olaru, 17, was missing from his home in Laindon and his family and police officers were concerned for his welfare.
He was reported missing on Wednesday, February 13, and officers had a reported sighting of him in the Laindon area yesterday.
Andrei has now been found within hours of the appeal being shared and police have thanked the public for their help.
A spokesman said: "We have found Andrei Olaru, 17, as a direct result of our social media appeal.
"We really appreciate your continued support and shares. Once again, thank you."
