A YOUNG mum ended up in hospital after she was allegedly spiked in a nightclub where several of its clubbers have alleged experiencing the same, since it opened less than six months ago.

Moo Moo Clubrooms, at Warrior Square in Southend has come under fire yet again following the allegations where an 18-year-old woman, from Leigh, collapsed in the toilet “out of the blue” on Saturday, January 16.

The victim, who did not want to be named, said: “My friend had won a competition for a free booth in the Fever room of the club, which was advertised through Moo Moo’s Facebook page, so I went with three of my friends.

“We were all having such a good night and it was my first night out since I had my baby nine weeks ago. I had my drink with me the whole time.

“One minute I was fine and the next minute I went to the toilet and just collapsed.

“I don’t remember anything after that, I just woke up in hospital. I was told I was throwing up uncontrollably and jerking my head forwards.

“I also had my charm bracelet worth £300 stolen off of my wrist while I was passed out.

“I never expected to wake up in hospital. I am okay now but I am still getting chest pains and feel really achy.

“I was terrified by the whole thing. What would happen to my daughter if something had have happened to me.

“I will never go there again. It was a really scary thing to go through and I just want to make other people aware.

“I had fluids flushed through my system and the nurses told me nothing came up on my blood test. She said she sees one person a week who has been brought in due to having their drink spiked.

“My mum ended up having a conversation with another woman while at the hospital with me, who was there with her daughter who was also in hospital because of collapsing after being at Moo Moo’s the same night.”
