THE RSPCA are appealing for information after claims a dog was violently attacked by its owner on the streets of Southend.
Witnesses reported seeing a man hit his dog and stamp on it's neck yesterday on Woodgrange Drive, Southend.
Eyewitnesses claim the man screamed in the dog’s face, before attacking it and pinning it to the floor.
A spokesman for the RSPCA said: “We are concerned to hear about this alleged incident and if anyone has any information we would urge them to get in touch with the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 or the police."
