A third person has been charged with the murder of Southend man Courtney Valentine-Brown.
Stuart Pearson, 43, of Satanita Road, Westcliff, has been charged with murder.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 2 March, and is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday 5 March.
Alex Stephens, 36, of Hamlet Court Road in Westcliff, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday, Friday 1 March, charged with murder.
He is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Wednesday 17 April, along with Ian Slater, 49, of Wayletts, Leigh-on-Sea, who also faces a charge of murder.
Mr Valentine-Brown, 36, was stabbed in the leg at an address at Roots Hall Drive on February 21. He later died in hospital.
