WITNESSES are being sought after reports of cars being attacked with bricks in Basildon.
Essex Police are investigating reports of items being thrown at cars on the A127 in Basildon.
The driver of a Chevrolet Matiz reported bricks or stones were thrown at their car at 5.55pm on Friday February 15.
Additionally, eggs were thrown at a Fiat 500, causing a crack in the windscreen, between about 2.30pm and 2.40pm on Saturday February 16.
A spokesman for the police said: "Officers investigating reports of items being thrown at cars on the A127 in Basildon are appealing for witnesses, particularly any drivers with dash cam footage.
"Both victims said the suspects were girls who were standing on the roadside of the London-bound side, between the turnings for Nevendon Road and Hovefields Avenue."
