A BOY has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a boy was stabbed in the back.
The 14-year-old from Southend has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The charge relates to an incident in Christchurch Road at around 3.35pm on Saturday, August 18 last year, where a boy suffered stab wounds to his back and shoulder.
The boy is due to appear at Basildon Youth Court on Tuesday April 16.
A 37-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains on police bail until March 29.
Two 17-year-old girls arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm have been released without charge.
