Police want to speak to this woman about an incident at Iceland in London Road, Leigh-on-Sea, on Wednesday, January 23.
A staff member challenged a woman who was suspected of shoplifting.
There was a struggle during which the member of staff suffered a broken finger.
Anyone who can identify the woman pictured is asked to call the Southend local policing team on 101 quoting reference 42/12423/19.
